Killer Body
Time and time again, women are targeted by the fashion world to be thin...thinner...the thinnest. But at what price?

I can't imagin people think this type of think is attractive. I think there is a huge diffrence between sickly think and healthy thin. If I was at a runway show and saw these models, I would definatly NOT buy any of the clothes. They don't even look appealing. I just want to say YUCK! Those woman look sick...
Ahhhh.....those pictures are horrifying. When I picture "models" in my head I think of the waife-like skinny girls that walk the runway, who still look like they eat something, but not very much. These girls don't look like they have seen food in ages. That is disgusting!
Being taught that thin is beautiful in the media is a scary and very damaging thing! I was watching some show on the thinnest actresses on E! (don't worry, it was anti-super thin actresses!) and Liv Tyler mentioned that producers have told her she'd get more work if she was skinnier.
Hello all. My name is Kate and I am currently finishing up my final year of undergrad in Southern California. I have a real passion for changing the lives of young women for the better. I feel it is through the media, such as magazines, that we can revolutionize the way adolescent girls feel about themselves. I believe the foundation of this issue is self-esteem and confidence. My goal is to establish ways for young girls to feel better about who they are in a world that is constantly telling them they aren't pretty enough.

Very sad. Those girls have gotten out of hand, hoepfully not beyond help.
